Book Review(?) : Hogfather by Terry Pratchett
This is not really a review, more of a post resulting from procrastination.
I really love the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. It was the series that got me back into reading after 6-ish years, and I really enjoy the writing style and the world. I read Hogfather sometime in last month, and then decided to write a review of it, then didn't.
Part of the reason is that I wasn't sure of what exactly to write, part of the reason was procrastination, part of the reason was I got busy with other things while doing the procrastination.
Hogfather is an amazing book. I loved the setting, I loved the story, I loved the theme. Apart from that I am not really sure what I can say more. I am very biased to this series, so I will overlook any issues that it might have. I'd strongly suggest everyone to give a try to this series if you haven't ; but I wasn't in the mindset to write a whole post encouraging reading this series disguised as a book review. So overall, I don't really have to say much on this, which might be a bit of shame. I'm only writing this post because I'm trying to write a post on most of the books I read before I start a new one; and I wanted to start a new one.
This is really a great read, I'd encourage you to give it a try if you haven't yet. Hex, is surprisingly, scarily, reminds me of certain things today (if you have read it, you'll probably get this).
I guess this is all I can say about this. HO HO HO.
